Winds ravaged trees as Hurricane Ian hits Florida

Florida Gulf Coast University encouraged its students to take shelter in place when Hurricane Ian made landfall near Fort Myers, Florida, on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Lee County, where the FGCU campus is located, has imposed a curfew for residents from 6 p.m. on Wednesday lasting until further notice.
