At night it will be a minimum of 6 C with some gusts of wind up to 40 km/h near the water. Today’s maximum temperature is 10°C at Vancouver International Airport.

Inland, snow is expected on some mountain passes from this afternoon through Saturday, said Environment Canada, which has issued a special weather statement for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops, the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kelowna, Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton and from Paulson. Summit to Kootenay Pass, and the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
