Sunset Hospitality Group partners with eCornell – Dubai Blog

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), known for creating exceptional hospitality and lifestyle experiences, partners with eCornell, the external education unit of Cornell University, to provide online programs and executive development to its team members.

The courses are part of Sunset Hospitality Group’s strategy to enhance and grow the team’s knowledge and skills to deliver the best lifestyle experience. Finance, hospitality and more.

Rania Roufael, Chief People Officer of Sunset Hospitality Group, explains: “We are always looking for passionate people to join our team and enable them to learn, grow and develop their skills. Our partnership with Cornell University’s Office of External Education will further realize this goal. It is not only about the sustainability, profitability and growth of the Group, but also about strengthening the reputation of Sunset Hospitality Group.”

Drawing on educational programs from Cornell’s various colleges and schools, Cornell External Education designs holistic solutions based on an organization’s goals.

The school offers online professional certificate programs through eCornell’s expert-led courses. These programs were developed by the Cornell Faculty and optimized for an online experience by the eCornell Instructional Design team.

The team learns in an interactive, small cohort format, facilitated by an industry expert in the field to gain skills that they can immediately apply in the organization. In addition, after completing a series of courses, participants receive an Executive Certificate from the university.

The programs are specifically designed from the point of view of helping working professionals to acquire and apply the knowledge and skills to succeed in current and future roles.

“The courses are available to all employees within the Group, so those aspiring to senior positions and those looking to further improve their management or leadership skills will really benefit from the program,” added Roufael.
