Samsung has just announced the availability of the Odyssey Neo G8, the world’s first 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate.
Released alongside the Odyssey Neo G7 and Odyssey Neo G4, the Odyssey Neo G8 combines a 32-inch, 4K 1000R curved VA panel with Quantum Matrix technology and 95 percent color gamut coverage, with a fast 240Hz refresh rate and a tiny 1ms GtG response time.
The panel uses Quantum Mini LED technology for ultra-precise color and image composition. Quantum HDR2000 with a static contrast ratio of million-to-one and peak brightness of 2000 nits delivers unparalleled detail and color for next-level immersion.
Samsung packed the Odyssey Neo G8 with an array of features that are guaranteed to take the gaming experience to the next level. The new monitor features Matte Display technology, which has both anti-glare and anti-glare reflection, keeping you at the head of the game. It also features a height-adjustable stand with swivel and tilt function, for perfect and personalized positioning.
“The Odyssey Neo G8 monitor will give Aussies an incredible gaming experience that we believe will give them an almost unfair advantage over their competition,” said Phil Gaut, Senior Director of Display and Brand Memory at Samsung Electronics Australia.
“This release is an exciting moment for Samsung as it reinforces our commitment to deliver innovative products that set new industry standards and empower people to do more with their technology.”
“We are really looking forward to bringing the world’s fastest 4K gaming monitor to this market and we are confident that our customers will be as excited as we are when they see it.”
