Arsenal have Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry on their radar, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs†
The North London club are looking for a new striker and are also strongly linked with Leeds United star Raphinha.
What’s the latest transfer news about Arsenal?
Last month, The Athletic reported that Arsenal had rejected an offer for Raphinha by Leeds. Since then both Chelsea and Barcelona have taken steps for the Brazilian, putting the Gunners in an unfavorable position.
Mikel Arteta may have to sign an alternative now, with Gnabry a player he could potentially try to bring in this summer.
According to 90min, Arsenal are keeping an eye on their former player, who is in breach of contract with Bayern.
The 26-year-old’s current contract expires next year and he has yet to agree an extension.

What has Jacobs said about Gnabry and Arsenal?
Jacobs has told GIVEMESPORT that Gnabry is a player that Arsenal is keeping an eye on.
Speaking to GMS, the CBS reporter said: “Gnabry is definitely on Arsenal’s radar, at around €60million, so not much different from Raphinha.
“But what is interesting is that Arsenal kept bidding for Raphinha and did not put 60 million on the table. If they want Serge Gnabry they will have to learn a lesson from that and be more decisive and pay those kinds of fees.”
Would Gnabry be a better asset than Raphinha?
Raphinha certainly has a lot of quality, with the Brazil international scoring 11 goals for Leeds in the Premier League last season. However, Gnabry is the most proven player as he continues to thrive at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Last year, according to FBref, the Bayern star is in the 94th percentile for progressive carries, 91st for completed dribbles and 95th for touches in the penalty area on attacking midfielders and wingers.
Last season, he also scored 17 goals in all competitions for the German giants, helping them win another Bundesliga title. It’s no wonder that manager Julian Nagelsmann has hailed him as an “excellent player”.
Ultimately, if Arsenal can land Raphinha, he could be a very good asset to them. But if they’re going to miss the Leeds man at another club, which now seems very likely, and bring Gnabry to the Emirates instead, then they’ll probably get the better deal.
