Police say an 18-year-old man was traveling south on a train when a suspect, standing on the platform at Beach 67th Street, shot the train.

QUEENS, New York (WABC) — A teenager was shot and killed while riding on a Queens subway on Wednesday night.

Police say an 18-year-old man was traveling south on a train when a suspect, standing on the platform at Beach 67th Street, shot the train.

The victim was hit once in the left leg.

He continued to ride the train and got off at 60th Street Beach, where he was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
