‘Notable’ about the Queen was ‘the way her virtues seemed to deepen’

Former chaplain to Queen Gavin Ashenden says one of the most striking things about Queen Elizabeth II was the way her “virtues seemed to deepen”.

“Her sense of humor, her kindness, her generosity, her focus on others,” he told Sky News Australia.

“One of the things I remember her best about is this constant growth in spirit, I think.”
