A 31-year-old man was arrested yesterday at Dublin Airport in connection with the 2013 Lordship Credit Union robbery.
The man was extradited from the UK and taken to a Garda station in Dublin last night.
Garda Adrian Donohoe was shot and killed on January 25, 2013 while acting in the performance of his duties with the credit union in Bellurgan, Dundalk, Co Louth.
In August 2020, Aaron Brady was found guilty of committing the robbery.
The man arrested last night at Dublin Airport is due to appear before the Dublin Criminal Courts at 10:30 am today, charged with the robbery.
