MAFS star Daniel Holmes raises concern with disturbing post: ‘Cry every day’

Controversial groom Daniel Holmes has sparked fear with an emotional Instagram post, admitting he cries “every day” and “trusts no one”.

Married At First Sight star Daniel Holmes has shared a disturbing post revealing that he cries “every day”, sparking fears for his well-being.

The controversial groom, who became entangled in a “fake scandal” on the show this year that eventually led him to date fellow contestant Carolina Santos, wrote on his Instagram story Friday night that he was “not okay.”

“I cry every day (sic). I’m lost, I’m lonely, I’m scared, I feel an enormous pressure. I don’t trust anyone, I fail and fail again,” said Holmes, 31.

“Those I love hurt me, I hurt them, I’m sorry.”

The post sparked speculation that his relationship with Santos, 34, could be going through a rough patch.

Holmes and Santos clashed with many of their co-stars during the 2022 season after sparking a romance while being with other people on the show.

They continued dating after filming wrapped, and just a week ago, Holmes shared a gushing tribute to his girlfriend alongside a photo of them walking their dog.

“I’ve been through so much with this girl. It takes something really special to get through what we get out of a reality TV show. It just made us stronger!” He wrote.

Earlier this year, the personal trainer revealed that he had been ‘abusing’ steroids for nearly eight years, until he signed up with MAFS in 2021.

Holmes credited Santos with helping him through his recovery.

“It was an addiction that I didn’t want to admit, but the reality is that in that 7-8 year period I never really got rid of it,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I can look back and realize how much it affected my life. There are side effects that I still deal with after years of messing with my hormones.

“Anyone who knows me well knows that I am very obsessive about the things I focus on. I have an obsession to be the best I can be.”
