An evacuation order was issued Friday evening for North Moree in NSW due to dangerous major flooding.
The NSW SES issued the warning around 8pm and comes as the state braces for a weekend of even more wet weather.
“You must evacuate now as flooding of properties is expected overnight from Friday to Saturday to Saturday,” the warning said.
Evacuation centers have been set up at the Moree PCYC on Boston Street.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued more than 20 weather warnings.
Heavy rain, damaging winds and large hailstones were expected Friday night.
The wet weather is expected to continue into the weekend and into next week.
