Excess body fat is bad for our health, but did you know that the location of your fat, not its size, indicates that you have certain diseases.

Subcutaneous fat is the “safest” fat under the skin and is easy to remove, while visceral fat is the “dangerous” or “toxic” body fat that is stored deeper in the body and affects our health.

In addition, visceral fat is active, which means it changes the chemical balance in our body, leading to chronic diseases, according to the newspaper “thesun”.

And storing fat in the neck and face can be a sign that you’re at risk for heart disease.

Neck fat also puts pressure on the main airways of the body, making it more difficult to breathe, and this is especially bad at night as some patients have difficulty breathing, increasing the risk of sleep apnea, stroke, depression and being too loud snoring increases.

Fat cells produce estrogen and increasing it increases the chance of developing breast cancer.

These extra fat cells in the breast also lead to inflammation in the body, which contributes to cancer.

Gaining fat in the upper arms is a sign of excess body fat and a warning that you need to think seriously about losing weight to protect your health.

Excess fat on the arms also usually indicates obesity and a high body mass index.

Obesity increases your chances of depression, heart attack, type 2 diabetes, stroke, joint pain, heart disease, cancer and early death, so this is a warning sign to try to change your lifestyle.


The researchers found that people with marbled quadriceps fat had a 34 percent higher risk of developing heart failure compared to people without it.

In addition, like belly fat, this fat is “active” and thus causes inflammation in the body and causes the immune system to attack instead of defending itself.

This leads to heart attacks and the development of type 2 diabetes.


Having a layer of fat around our waist is perfectly normal, but when we start to store a lot of visceral fat there, it can be dangerous for our health.

It often makes its way to the liver and turns into cholesterol.

Cholesterol easily enters the bloodstream, clogging the arteries and causing an increased risk of heart disease, heart attack, stroke and high blood pressure.

Visceral belly fat also affects chemical reactions. This inflammation in the body leads to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.

Research also shows that it can make you more susceptible to some types of cancer, including breast and colon cancers.

Eat more nutrients:

Eating a wider variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and complete proteins feeds our gut bacteria and increases our nutritional intake.

“The more foods we eat, the less likely we are to eat high-calorie foods,” says nutritionist Sarah Buckhart.

In addition, the healthier the gut bacteria, the more likely the food will be digested efficiently, which also increases the chance of burning fat.

Eliminate processed foods:
